Tribute to Professor Ohtsu Kohei, Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology

Ascenz has paid tribute to the life and work of Tokyo University’s Professor Ohtsu Kohei and extends deepest sympathies to his family.

Ascenz was very sad to hear of the passing of our dear friend and innovation collaborator.

Prof Ohtsu not only an accomplished intellectual in the maritime fields of Model Base Ship’s Monitoring – Onboard Data Analytics, he was also a pioneer in the field of maritime operational performance. He was one of those extraordinary people who can devote his life to maritime research and applying his life knowledge to the work which he has done.  His memory will live on in Ascenz O2.
